Hacienda Calavera Schaumburg

I must say, pulling up to the restaurant, I almost did t get out. The parking lot view of the restaurant was not appealing from the outside.. but one I opened the door mot was a totally different vibe! It is beautifully decorated on the inside. I loved the decor! The Cantarito was delicious, very refreshing beverage. steak empanadas were on point, the shrimp were just ok. The fajitas were very flavorful, just missing the cheese and crema. Overall great experience, I would come again!

The food is absolutely exquisite, and the service is top-notch! We had the pleasure of being served by Pedro, whose attentive and warm hospitality truly elevated our experience. The ambiance is vibrant and welcoming — aesthetically, the space is stunning, with beautifully detailed decor that brings the Calavera theme to life. From start to finish, everything was flawless. Highly recommend — 10/10!

We celebrated birthday here and we are so glad we did! The service and food were great! The music was a little loud, but it gives those resort vibes. It was an amazing experience! Will definitely come back.

I just celebrated my 45th birthday at the new Schaumburg location. The staff was delightful, the restaurant was sophisticated. Our server, Clara, was super attentive and diligent. It felt as though the “experience” of the celebration of my birthday was their top priority. Every detail from the interesting (and delicious) drinks to the birthday calavera, felt so special and thoughtful and intentional. I wish them much success at this new location. They seem to be doing everything to perfection.

We came for my birthday on a Monday night Jasmin was out server and she was amazing! She took care of us and made sure to be accommodating. I'm pregnant and she let me know about Mocktails they had and we had my five year old with us and she was able to give us options for kids! I was worried with it being a weekday that it wouldn't be the same vibe but it was they gave me a sash and a personalized menu page! All of our food was amazing my five year old ate the most at a restaurant she ever has! Jasmin made sure to see if we wanted dessert and we got the chocolate skull candy and the staff came to sing to me and made me feel truly special. From the moment we walked in to the end of the evening everything was top tier! There's not one bad thing I could say! We definitely will be back and will be recommending the restaurant and Jasmin for her service! Thank you to the staff for making a pregnant girl feel special on her 30th .

We had a great experience! The place looks amazing — it has a fun and lively vibe while still feeling upscale and classy. The drinks were solid, and the food was absolutely delicious. Our server, Marlene, really took care of us — she was super nice and helpful throughout the night. Definitely coming back!
